Theoretical Review of the Comprehensive Regional Care for the Older Adults: Health Concept and Care System

Abstract
This paper was to review the theoretical tasks of the comprehensive regional care. There is a need to convert the health care and protection system from medical model treatment to daily life model in accordance with the adoption of new health concepts. The daily life model understands health as that allows the elderly people to lead normal daily life and the comprehensive care system for elderly is the health care and protection system based on this daily life model. Comprehensive regional care for the elderly refers to provision of overall and integrated services including cure and care services, support for daily life including residences to all the elderly people within the unit region. The core elements of this support system include regionality and comprehensiveness. In the level of service a greater objects, theoretical foundation should be consolidated for the establishment of grand and generalized comprehensive care system from the perspective of the comprehensiveness of the subjects and pursued this Study under this theme.
